Yoga

Our aim is to make the practice of basic yoga easily accessible to everyone, free of charge, to help reduce stress, take care of ourselves and our inner selves. Engaging these exercises helps us to get on with our daily lives. Regardless your age, you can participate.


We kindly request that you arrive 15 minutes before the session begins to ensure a prompt start. If you are coming for the first time, we ask you to arrive around 8.30am. Upon arrival, you will receive necessary information and be asked to complete a form.


Sessions start with warm-up exercises (12-15), a sun salutation and a motivational speech. This is followed by 90-100 combinations of asanas, postures and exercises. We also practise acupressure, 6 mudras, 7 pranayams and micro-exercises for the eyes, fingers, toes, face and neck. Laughter yoga and super brain yoga are also included. We finish with "Shav Asana", a motivational poem, mantra and prayer.

 

On the last Saturday of the month, food is provided by the foundation. Participants can contribute to the meal by bringing a cooked dish. The food is Indian and vegetarian.

Times: Saturdays between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. Last Saturday of the month, attend a free lecture between 11 a.m. and 11.45 a.m.
